Spotlighting Evelyn Akhator – WNBA Professional Basketballer

Evelyn Akhator (born February 3, 1995) is a Nigerian professional women’s basketball forward with the Dallas Wings of the US Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). All of 6’3” tall, she was drafted in May 2017 as the 3rd overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft. At the third FIBA Women’s AfroBasket title in August, Evelyn guided Nigeria to their first title in 12 years, she was named on the All-Star Five of the tournament along with Senegal’s Astou Traore.
