Hello, my name is Nena Ubani. I became interested in Wellness after I found my life spinning out of control. I was neglecting my well-being and it had began to affect all areas of my life. My health, relationships and career were all suffering. Things looked bleak and I had to do something real fast before it was too late. It was time to take stock. In order to take back control, I had to make a conscious effort to improve all aspects of my life.
Wellness is more than just a state of physical health. It is about balancing your mind, body and soul in order to achieve ultimate health. This means staying positive, contributing to your community, building real relationships, physical activities and a good spiritual life. Food also plays a great part in how we feel. Eating the right food is paramount to our well-being.
I am excited about being able to share my health journey and practical tips to help you cope with life’s many challenges. In the coming weeks, we would be exploring how our environment, food, mental health, relationships and spirituality contribute to our overall health. Looking forward to it.
