Famed feminist author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was appalled when asked by a French Journalist yesterday if there are any libraries in Nigeria. She gave a fitting response and went on to explain how it matters to her that her books are read by Nigerian people, the people she often writes about.
The journalist went on:
In France, we don’t know very much about Nigeria. When we hear Nigeria, we think about Boko Haram and violence and security. Tell us something different.
